Become an Ambassador
The Ambassador Mission
The Ambassador program started in 2013 as a way for community partners who provide support to older adults, veterans or individuals with disabilities to gain insight into the many services and supports offered by Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut. During that time, we increased our visibility and engaged many community partners in supporting our mission.
While our formal Ambassador program has wrapped up, we continue to seek community partners who act as ambassadors - those who take an active role in supporting our service and educational programs, assuring our resources are accessible to the community and assists in identifying needs in the larger service community, thus assisting us in making better-informed funding decisions.
How You Can Get Involved

- Advisory Council - The council serves as advocates on issues and programs that affect older adults and individuals with disabilities in south central Connecticut.
- Support the Work of the ADRC: The Aging and Disability Resource Center provides information and assistance for consumers. Contact Bev Kidder if your agency can partner with a program by being a site sponsor or recruiting volunteers.
