Volunteer through RSVP

An hour of your time could mean the world to someone.

RSVP is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and over. Our AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers use the skills and talents they have learned over the years, or they develop new ones while serving in a variety of volunteer activities in their community.

Adults 55 and older who want the chance to share their wisdom have many different types of opportunities through RSVP.

  • Act as a friendly visitor and give seniors social companionship and access to the community.
  • Become a Money Manager and assist others with organizing their monthly bills and following a budget.
  • Tutor children so that they can gain necessary literacy skills.
  • Provide additional support to community organizations and non-profits.

RSVP is funded by AmeriCorps (Corporation for National and Community Service).
Every year, AmeriCorps enroll more than 270,000 individuals to serve organizations making a difference in communities across America.
