Background
The Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut (AOASCC) is an independent non-profit organization serving older adults, individuals with disabilities and caregivers in greater New Haven and the lower Valley. Our mission is to empower adults to remain as independent and engaged as possible within their communities through advocacy, information, and services. We award funds to local agencies, which provide meals and social services at local sites. AOASCC is also an access agency through the Department of Social Services’ (DSS) Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders (CHCPE) and provides services under DSS’s Money Follows the Person program (MFP) and Community First Choice (CFC). 
AOASCC operates in a complex service delivery environment with a multitude of funding sources and compliance reporting requirements.


The Project
AOASCC seeks an experienced IT professional to evaluate the efficacy of the current IT infrastructure, applications and staffing to recommend next steps for improving systems. We seek a consultant who is experienced in the business applications provided in the systems overview (Page 2). The consultant will be required to work directly/meet with the CEO and department heads, as well as the agency’s contracted IT vendors.  Experience with non-profit human services/healthcare delivery is preferred.
