The GNTD Foundation Launches Art in Motion Initiative

Subject: ART IN MOTION - THE MOVING PICTURES PROJECT - GNHTD FOUNDATION

Friends and Colleagues,
I am delighted to tell you that our first “Art in Motion-Moving Pictures Project” vehicle is ready to be put on the road. We will be having a small “reception” to introduce the vehicle to you. I hope you will be able to join us and I encourage you to invite anyone else that you might feel would like to be part of this event. We will be offering some pre-dinner nibbles and soft drinks and water.
This “Premier Vehicle” was funded through a grant from the Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut and they are acknowledged on the vehicle as well.
The beautiful artwork that adorns the vehicle was done by our very own Bethany Board Member, Cathy Weiss! But, she not only created a lovely piece of art, she also did an enormous amount of work by figuring out what sized artwork would enlarge well proportionately, as well as paying attention to the appropriate medium to use so that the colors would be vibrant and would attract attention.
