Meet Yale's Expert on Ageism
Dr. Becca Levy is an associate professor of epidemiology and social psychology at Yale University. She is a leading researcher in the fields of social gerontology and psychology of aging. Her research focuses on how age stereotypes can affect the cognitive and physical health of older individuals. Dr. Levy is the recipient of numerous achievement awards and has given invited testimony before the United States Senate on the effects of ageism.
National Poll on Healthy Aging
In December 2019, the University of Michigan National Poll on Healthy Aging asked a national sample of adults age 50–80 about their experiences with different forms of everyday ageism, positive views on aging, and health.
