AmeriCorps Seniors projects and volunteers across the country came together for the 2026 AmeriCorps Seniors Nationwide Celebration on September 15, 2:00–3:30 p.m. ET. This national broadcast recognized the contributions of AmeriCorps Seniors Volunteers and connected celebrations happening in local communities nationwide.
The live event connected AOASCC’s RSVP Program with 1,853 staff members and volunteers across 429 locations, giving us a broader perspective on the reach of volunteer service nationwide.

- More than 112,000 AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers serve communities across the United States.
The AOASCC AmeriCorps Senior RSVP Program engages 120 active volunteers who provide ongoing support to more than 40 clients, foster intergenerational connections with 41 students, and strengthen the community by supporting local nonprofits and municipalities. Through these diverse partnerships and service opportunities, RSVP promotes independence, meaningful connections, and community engagement.
